This Spring, the acclaimed Watermill Theatre presents the World premiere of a captivating and powerful new folk-inspired musical. The Wicker Husband, by Rhys Jennings and Darren Clark, was the winner of the inaugural MTI Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award in 2016 celebrating new British musical theatre writers and was included in the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 30th Annual Festival of New Musicals in New York.

Ruthless! The Musical, a fast-paced and funny musical, satirizing old movie classics like The Bad Seed and All About Eve, opens at Theatre Memphis in the Next Stage November 8 and runs through November 23, 2019. The plot reveals a talented eight-year-old, Tina, who declares her show biz ambition. Enter Sylvia St. Croix, an overbearing, sleazy talent agent with a secret, who encourages her to audition for the school play. Tina a?oeaccidentallya?? hangs her major rival to get the part a?? only to be sent up the river and swept aside by her mother, Judy Denmark, who finds her own voice and soars to stardom. Once Tina is released from incarceration, she returns for her own revenge with dreams of a comeback and more murderous mayhem as it is revealed that there are many who are not who they have seemed to be.

Following critically-acclaimed runs and a BBC Radio 4 broadcast of The Listening Room, Crowded Room today announce its brand new production The Colours. The verbatim play will premiere at Soho Theatre from 30 July to 17 August 2019, and will also be performed at Rowans Hospice near Portsmouth. Interviews to create the play were conducted throughout 2018 with patients, doctors, nurses and volunteers at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff and Ty Olwen Hospice in Swansea.

42nd Street taps its way across the boards at Theatre Memphis on the Lohrey Stage June 8- July 1, 2018. Opening night will be a fundraising event, $100 per person (will include a show ticket), cocktail buffet, open bar, live auction and opportunities to participate in 'prize pulls' that will include wine, jewelry and more. The event will begin at 6pm with the performance starting at 8pm. In this staple of American musical theatre, star-struck Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City from Allenstown, PA, hoping to become a Broadway star herself. Facing adversity, she learns about show business and discovers which relationships are most important in life. Between setbacks and growth as both a performer and a young woman, she conquers the city as the cast tap dances into your hearts with iconic musical numbers including 'We're in the Money,' 'Lullaby of Broadway,' 'Shuffle Off to Buffalo,' and the title song, '42nd Street.'
