A year ago, it was “The Impossible Dream,” now, the nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is proud to announce a marquee season in the theatre's 169th year. The Fulton invites audiences to “Return to LIVE,” beginning this summer with a concert series that will ease back into full audiences.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre and Lancaster Symphony Orchestra will to present Igor Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat (The Soldier's Tale) on Friday, June 4 at 7:00 PM and Wynton Marsalis's A Fiddler's Tale on Friday, June 18 at 7:00 PM.

Award-winning playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson was selected by a committee as one of the four playwrights to receive a reading at the nationally regarded Fulton Theatre.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is proud to announce the exciting launch of Fulton HD, a new initiative to bring the Fulton into the living rooms, and hearts of the Lancaster Community – and beyond. Fulton HD will premiere with the magic of the holidays on Friday, December 18, 2020.

Maine playwrights - and those from across the United States – will have an opportunity to submit their work to the Fulton Theatre’s first National Festival of New Plays, which will debut May 21-23, 2021 in Lancaster, PA. Entitled “Stories of Diversity: Reflections of Community,’ the festival is dedicated to works – comedies, dramas, or musical, that “celebrate perspectives from the spectrum of diversity, including voices from Black, Indigenous, and other peoples of color, LGBTQ communities as well as voices from different religious and economic viewpoints. The initiative was launched this year as part of the theatre’s commitment to what Director of Community Engagement, Steph Jo Wise calls “theatre’s commitment to be an agent of change though the stories we tell” and to make a positive difference in the ongoing struggle for equity and inclusion.

Jeffrey Coon, the Fulton's annual fund and foundation manager and one of the hosts of the telethon, announced the final fundraising total for the 'This is Our Home' campaign to be $331,841.59.

The immediate future for large gatherings is uncertain, and the safety and welfare of the Fulton's guests, artists and staff, and sustainability of the Fulton Theatre is of utmost importance.

The Fulton Theatre remains positive with a bright outlook for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 season. The hopeful plan for the nationally regarded theatre is to resume the 2019/2020 season in August, with its hit production of Kinky Boots.

The Broadway smash hit has a book by Harvey Fierstein and a Grammy Award-winning score by pop sensation Cyndi Lauper has been HELD OVER for an additional week, now set to close on Saturday, April 4th.

Based on the 2005 film by the same name, the musical 'Kinky Boots' tells the story of an unlikely partnership between a failing shoe manufacturer (Charlie) and a fabulous cabaret entertainer (Lola). Although they come from very different worlds, the two realize that they are not so different after all. Playing the challenging role of Lola is New Hampshire native Darius Harper. Working both nationally and internationally, Harper brings years of experience and talent to the Fulton stage.

From the hills of Indiana to the Adirondack Mountains, Calling All Kates has taken an exciting and unconventional journey, and its latest stop is Prima Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
