Syreeta (suhREEtah) Briggs will present TEETH: UH MORALITY PLAY as part of the 2023 Atlanta Fringe Festival. TEETH: UH MORALITY PLAY revolves around Blue, a plucky eight-year-old girl searching for a runaway smile in a perpetual game of hide and seek.

Hunter, Pulitzer Prize-finalist Zora Howard, Antoinette Nwandu, Octavio Solis, and Lloyd Suh will select the winning plays for ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence, a playwriting contest for teens.

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs shares her upbeat holiday track entitled “Cheer” via RCA Records UK. Earlier this year, Bishop released the emotionally charged one-two punch of “High Water” and “Art of Survival.” She enraptured viewers with a stirring rendition of “High Water” on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Silent Sky, a play by Lauren Gunderson, will run at Theatre 40 from March 17th through April 17th, 2022. The show will play Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m, with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. The production is directed by Ann Hearn Tobolowsky and produced for Theatre 40 by David Hunt Stafford. Silent Sky is the story of a real woman whose life and discoveries were significant in their impact on Man's (and Woman's) next steps into the universe at large.

The Encore Musical Theatre Company has just announced that Jason Briggs has joined their staff in the role of Managing Director. Briggs comes to The Encore with both a BA in Theatre Performance, and a master’s degree in Marketing and Innovative Management from The University of Michigan-Flint.
