Last Thursday we had our first show of 2020 and what better way to kick off the New Year than our first-ever Rising Star Reunion! At every show we do, along with our Broadway performers who come to sing with us, we also showcase a young artist who has not yet tread the Great White Way! Many of our Rising Stars go on to do INCREDIBLE things and we were so happy to be joined by some of our favorite alumni! Performers of the evening include Hannah Cruz (Hamilton), Julian R Decker (Love Never Dies), Shawn Bowers (Ain't Too Proud), Mallory Bechtel (Dear Evan Hansen), Avery Smith (Beautiful), Roderick Lawrence (The Lion King), Britt Lenting (Phantom Of The Opera), Kate Corsaro, Nicole Vande Zande, Claire Saunders, Lillian Andrea De Leon, Sal Pavia, Jose Plaza, Josh Bardier, Gregory Sullivan, Lincoln Ward, Gina Santare, Mallory King & Dylan Hartwell.

Broadway Sessions begins new seasons this week!

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - the new intimate concert venue dubbed Broadway's 'off-night hotspot' by The New York Times - will present 'Holiday Harmony' on Monday, December 9 at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. From the creators of 'Harmony on Broadway' and 'Harmony Pop!' comes the third installment of the sold-out series.

Broadway Records announced today that Wanda's World (Studio Cast Recording) will be released digitally and in stores on Friday, December 6, 2019. The album is currently available for pre-order at www.BroadwayRecords.com and Amazon.com.

Performers included Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Matilda), Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten, Les Miserables), Mallory Bechtel (Hereditary, Dear Evan Hansen), Kimberly Marable(Hadestown), Analise Scarpaci (A Christmas Story, Matilda), Laurissa 'Lala' Romain(South Pacific), and emcee for the evening, Terra C MacLeod (Chicago).

THE GREEN ROOM 42 a?" Broadway's newest intimate concert venue a?" will present a special evening of entertainment for Sekhmet Sisterhood's Night of Broadway on Sunday, September 8 at 7:00 PM. Following the announcement of several performers including Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Matilda), Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten, Les Miserables), and Mallory Bechtel (Hereditary, Dear Evan Hansen). the line up just keeps growing! Joining this already power-packed cast includes Kimberly Marable (Hadestown), Analise Scarpaci (A Christmas Story, Matilda), Laurissa a?oeLalaa?? Romain (South Pacific), and emcee for the evening, Terra C MacLeod (Chicago). They will raise money for the newly established 501c3 non-profit organization Sekhmet Sisterhood, devoted to empowering women to make a difference and change the world by banding together, sharing experiences and supporting each other. These powerful Broadway stars will sing songs that take you through the evolution of sisterhood over the years, while raising money for an important cause. Musical Direction by Laura Bergquist. Gabrielle Carrubba will take over the role of Zoe Murphy on Broadway in Dear Evan Hansen on Tuesday, July 30. She replaces Mallory Bechtel, who will play her final performance on Sunday, July 28 after a year in the role.

Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, is currently in its third record-smashing year at the Music Box Theatre. Following the success of the Broadway production, a national tour launched soon after, bringing the story across North America. A sit-down production made its way to Toronto earlier this year, and will be followed by a West End production set to debut in October 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre.

This year's Stars in the Alley concert was held on May 10. Hosted by Alex Brightman, the celebration included performances and appearances by 2019 Tony Award-nominated performers including: Caitlin Kinnunen (The Prom), Sarah Stiles (Tootsie), as well as performances from 2019 Tony Award-nominated musicals including: Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations; Beetlejuice; Hadestown; Kiss Me, Kate; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!; The Prom; and Tootsie.
