The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) is proud to announce that Cicely Tyson will accept the Prince Rainier III Award and filmmaker and New Arts Axis Director, Wendy Levy, and New York City Ballet Principal Dancer, Tiler Peck, will receive Princess Grace Statue Awards at the 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala on October 30, 2013, at Cipriani 42(nd) Street in New York City.

Sundance Institute today announced the acting company, artists-in-residence and creative advisors for the seven projects being developed at its 2013 Theatre Lab, July 8-28 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Lab is the centerpiece of the Theatre Program's year-round work and is designed to support both emerging and established artists and to create a place where their original work can be effectively mentored and challenged free from commercial pressure.
Quintessence Theatre Group Extends ANTIGONE Through April 1

Quintessence Theatre Group's production of Jean Anouilh's 1943 adaptation of Sophocles' ANTIGONE, in a translation by Jeremy Sams, directed by Alexander Burns has been extended to April 1st. ANTIGONE has added performances on Friday, March 30th at 8pm, Saturday, March 31st at 8pm and will now close on Sunday, April 1st at 3pm at the Sedgwick Theate. Batman, Producers), the country's premier producer of new LGBT-themed plays, launches its Fourth Annual Festival, a five-week event (May 6 - June 6, 2010) filled with new theatre works spotlighting gay issues, with the U.S. premiere of the play Romeo and Hamlet written by R. Jonathan Chapman and Kevin Stefan and directed by Sidney J. Burgoyne.
