Theatre Royal Stratford East today announces its return to live work on stage. The previously announced The Sun, The Moon, And The Stars, written by Dipo Baruwa-Etti, directed by Nadia Fall and starring Kibong Tanji, will now play from Wed 02 – Sat 19 Jun 2021.

The National Theatre today announces plans to reopen in June, welcoming audiences back to the South Bank for the first time since closing last December.  

Due to the latest COVID19 restrictions in London and the UK, Theatre Royal Stratford East has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone its reopening season which includes The Sun, The Moon and The Stars by Dipo Baruwa-Etti, After The End by Dennis Kelly and Extinct by April De Angelis to later in the Spring.

The Donmar Warehouse has announced that Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell will curate a series of intimate evenings of music and song performed in the iconic setting of the Donmar auditorium. Each cabaret evening will feature the best of musical theatre, with a programme of songs by Stephen Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown, Noël Coward and Lin-Manuel Miranda. BAFTA-winning actress Jessica Hynes will make her Donmar debut in the role of Harper alongside Aisling Loftus as Joan and Simon Manyonda as Todd. Casting for the role of Young Joan is to be announced at a later date.
