Like any great art form, musical theatre is shaped by the events and philosophies of the day. The strength and vitality of musical theatre lie in its ability to stay fresh and relevant. It was with that idea in mind, ten years ago, that the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) was created - to provide an effective platform to introduce new shows, new perspectives, and new blood into the musical theatre canon. New sat down with Shakina Nayfack, an actress appearing in the upcoming NYMF production of Noemi de la Peunte, David Davila, and Howard Post's Manuel Versus the Statue of Liberty (July 21-27).

The 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival presents To Hell and Back in concert on Tuesday, July 7th. Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, this indie-rock album musical follows a broken songwriter on a madcap cab ride into a soundless world to save his muse from the hands of a lonely fangirl. Music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson Award-winning songwriter Joel B. New.

Three Day Hangover presents Hank V, an epic, two-person retelling of Shakespeare's Henry V...in a BAR! The final production of their sold out 2014 season, seven performances of Hank V will be staged at The East Wing at The Stumble Inn, 306 East 76th Street (at 2nd Ave) in NYC from February 18-March 1, 2015.

Three Day Hangover, the unique performance company has received rave reviews for their shows. And, now they will premiere a limited engagement of Hank V, based on William Shakespeare's Henry V. It will be performed at Stumble Inn's East Wing, 2nd Avenue and 76th Street on the Upper East Side from tonight, February 18th to February 20th and February 26th to March 1st. All shows start at 7:30 pm.

Three Day Hangover is now performing 'Drunkle Vanya' an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's 'Uncle Vanya.' Adapted and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, the show is a wholly entertaining piece of theater.

The season two finale of "Something New' has been released digitally today on iTunes, Stitcher, and TuneIn.
