Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Robert Hastie today announces his new season for 2018.

Artistic Director Josie Rourke and Executive Producer Kate Pakenham announce today three new productions at the Donmar Warehouse for late 2017 and through to 2018: a new play by Amy Herzog, Belleville, a revival of Peter Gill's modern classic, The York Realist, and a new production of William Congreve's Restoration comedy The Way of the World.

The Matthew Bourne / New Adventures production of 'The Red Shoes,' presented by Center Theatre Group and Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, is making its American premiere now through October 1, 2017 in Los Angeles. The enchanting world of CBeebies' hit animated series Sarah & Duck will be brought to life on stage at the Edinburgh Fringe this Summer.  

The acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of 'Into the Woods' opened April 5, 2017, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and plays through May 14, 2017. The celebrated new production of the Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, is directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld. Center Theatre Group's production of 'Amelie, A New Musical' at the Ahmanson Theatre opened December 16 and continues through January 15, 2017. Based on the motion picture written by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant, 'Amelie, A New Musical' will have its Broadway premiere at the Walter Kerr Theatre, beginning performances on March 9, 2017 and opening April 3, 2017. Disney Junior will debut the first six episodes of fairytale-inspired 'Goldie & Bear' on the popular WATCH Disney Junior platforms, beginning Saturday, September 12, with one new episode premiering on the WATCH Disney Junior app and WATCH Disney Junior.com each Monday from September 21 through October 12. Set in the magical world of Fairy Tale Forest, the animated series for kids age 2-7 reunites Goldie and Bear, after the renowned porridge incident featured in 'Goldilocks and The Three Bears.' The series premieres in November on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.

The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has welcomed a new cast to the West End production, and last night (30 June 2015) held a special gala performance with celebrity V.I.P. guests at the Gielgud Theatre.  Last month the play was one of the big winners at the Tony Awards® in New York, winning 5 awards including Best New Play. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time recently extended booking in London, releasing over 120,000 tickets and is now booking until 13 February 2016.
