The New Group announces additional casting for productions coming up in the company's 2016-2017 Season.

Four theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 2016 Awards in a luncheon ceremony to be held November 7, 2016.

Ballet NY presents its 2014 Season, including In the Garden of Souls, the company premieres of Kinderszenen, Dreams, and excerpts from Urban Study, from April 15-17, 2014 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55th Street, NYC (at Ninth Avenue). Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Halley Feiffer's How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, directed by Kip Fagan, will extend performances through Saturday, December 14 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. How to Make Friends and then Kill Them was originally scheduled to close Sunday, December 8.

Gingold Theatrical Group's SHAW NEW YORK 2013 festival concludes on Sunday October 13th. It has been highlighted by GTG's co-production of Shaw's You Never Can Tell with and at The Pearl Theatre Company. This production, which was filmed for the New York Library for the Performing Arts and Lincoln Center archives, is ending its limited run on Sunday October 13th.

On Monday, October 7 was Critics' Symposium, at which a team of critics examined the ever-changing needs of their field.
