Plaza's Broadway Long Island, Nassau County's Only Professional Equity Theatre in residence at the State-of-the Art Elmont Library Theatre, has announced the cast and creative team for their upcoming production of Man of La Mancha.

J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company announced today that performances for the company's final production of its inaugural 2020 season have been rescheduled.

The newly formed J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company ends its inaugural season with the 2001 musical, A Class Act, with book by Linda Kline and Lonny Price, and music and lyrics by Edward Kleban. Performances will begin TOMORROW Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7:30pm and continue through March 22, 2020 at Theatre Row

Assassins tells a story of nine individuals who succeeded or attempted to assassinate the President of the United States of their time. This musical mixes humor and drama to tell a story about people who are trying to understand themselves in all different parts of life. Director Lauren Shields puts a contemporary view on this 2004 Tony award winning musical. Tickets have officially gone on sale for Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre. The production will be directed by Lauren Shields.

Film actor Tim Realbuto* has been tapped to play John Hinckley, the man whose obsession with a young Jodie Foster made him attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, in Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical masterpiece ASSASSINS, opening May 2nd at Long Island City's Secret Theatre. The production will be directed by Lauren Shields.

The night was 'sweet' indeed recently as Broadway Sessions welcomed cast members from The New Group's hit revival of Sweet Charity. Cast members Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Joel Perez, Donald Jones Jr., James Brown III and Cody Williams performed, told stories and delighted the audience. Opening tonight, July 12, 2012, Spring Awakening marks the start of Mazeppa's second season of musical production as well as its inaugural production at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre in Old City, Philadelphia. Director Rob Henry, music director Jerry Kapral, and choreographer Dawn Morningstar lead the cast of thirteen in staging the Duncan Sheik/Steven Sater musical. Spring Awakening runs through July 28, 2012 at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre at 20 North American Street, Philadelphia.
