Trick Saddle presents the World Premiere of WICKETS beginning previews January 3 at 3LD Art & Technology Center. This radical adaptation of Marie Irene Fornes groundbreaking 1971 drama Fefu and Her Friends is created and conceived by Clove Galilee and Jenny Rogers. Developed through Mabou Mines Suite/Space and the HERE Arts Center Artist Residency Program (HARP) with overall support from INTAR Theater. Opening night is slated for Thursday January 8, 2009.

Written and performed by Harnest, SACRED IS THE NEW PROFANE is told stylistically: mixing stand-up, story-telling and character driven scenes, Harnest portrays a breakdown that transformed into a break-through. Directed by Jeremy Bloom, the show begins performances on Friday, July 25th at Stage Left Studio, located at 438 W. 37th Street as part of the Ninth Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival.

Inspired by the real life story of a retired French army officer's attempts to set the world record for the longest and fastest free fall, THE WENDY COMPLEX draws upon his unrelenting ambition to do the seemingly impossibly as the creative backdrop for this new groundbreaking play. THE WENDY COMPLEX is a completely fictional account of this story, a fanciful one that worries mostly about the jumper's wife's response to such heroic recklessness.

La MaMa E.T.C. presents Ellen Stewart's new adaptation of THE RAVEN, an American-premiere musical based on the rarely seen play by 18th-century Italian writer Carlo Gozzi (TURANDOT, THE GREEN BIRD), featuring an international cast from the acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company at La MaMa E.T.C. Renovated HERE Arts Center Reopens 'With A Twist'

The all-new fully renovated HERE Arts Center proudly reopens its doors this Spring with Arias with a Twist, a premiere production from New York favorites Joey Arias and Basil Twist. Arias with a Twist marks the 10th Anniversary of the Dream Music Puppetry Program and the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre at HERE Arts Center. The production is presented as part of HERE's 2007-2008 season of new multi-disciplinary productions spanning theatre, dance, puppetry and multimedia work, which includes Dream Music programming. Arias with a Twist will run Thursday, June 12 - Saturday, July 13 at HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Avenue).
