The Midwest Premiere of A THOUSAND CIRCLETS by Theroun D'Arcy Patterson will be at 8:30 PM tonight, March 28, 2013 at the Detroit Repertory Theatre. This moving family drama is about a renowned African American architect who is on the cusp of realizing his life's ambition: to build a skyscraper. But foreboding ripples threaten the seemingly smooth waters.

The Ringwald Theatre will pay special tribute to Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein with The Wendy Chronicles, a series of staged readings of her best known plays. Beginning in January and continuing through the coming months, four of her plays will be presented as a way of examining the arc of her career and the special impact she had on the theatre community. Wasserstein, whose works portrayed the challenging and complex lives of contemporary women, died on Jan. 30, 2006 of lymphoma.

Performance Network Theatre announces it's production of 'The War Since Eve,' by Michigan playwright, Kim Carney. The comedy will close on February 13. 'Eve' is directed by PNT Artistic Director, David Wolber, and features Henrietta Hemelin, Sarab Kamoo ('Sonia Flew') and Leah Smith.

Due to great responses from both critics and audiences, Performance Network Theatre will extend its production of 'The War Since Eve,' by Michigan playwright, Kim Carney.

THE WAR SINCE EVE runs through February 13th. Weekly performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm with Saturday matinees on January 29 and February 12 at 3pm.
