The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) presents the 4th annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, which are being broadcast live on The CW from the Beverly Hilton Hotel tonight, June 19, 2014 (8:00pm ET/8:00pm PT) and hosted by actor/comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Cedric is currently the star, co-creator and executive producer of the hit comedy series The Soul Man on TV Land as well as one of the stars of The Original Kings of Comedy. Actor, comedian, and writer Lauren Weedman is heading to town to create a one-woman improvised theater show Well I Think You're Beautiful Philadelphia… based on her experiences in the city. Praised for her "unflinchingly honest comic observation" (Seattle Weekly), Weedman is a series regular on HBO's hit new show Looking, which chronicles the struggles, loves, and lives of three gay men in San Francisco. She has garnered a cult reputation for her quick wit and spitfire jokes through her acting and comedic roles, and this new work marks her Philadelphia debut.

It's a season of change for Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company. The company will start its 2012-2013 season with a unique, outdoor celebration of Mercer County's landscapes, called Dancescapes NJ.
