Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), returns to Chicago for a limited two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) tonight, July 14, through July 26, 2015.

On Monday, May 11, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Apollo Link, Broadway's premier vocal trio. After half-a-million YouTube hits, the trio brought original arrangements, impeccable harmonies and powerful vocals to the historic music room.  The trio performed fan favorites like "Chandelier," "Latch', 'Shake It Off," 'At Last," "Jealous," and many more. TUTS Students Perform at National Theatre Festival

Students from Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) recently showcased their outstanding musical theatre abilities at the 10th nationwide Junior Theater Festival, January 16 - 18. A total of 4,800 students from 26 states, the District of Columbia and two countries participated in the celebration of musical theatre presented by iTheatrics at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia. "I had the great pleasure of witnessing the HSMT students' superb artistic talent and an incredible standing ovation of 4,800 of their peers when their performance in the New Works Showcase was complete. I am proud that TUTS has the Humphreys School and am in awe of its accomplishments," said Bob Lawson, TUTS' Director of Education.

The 11-day run marks the launch of the musical's national tour. A hit on Broadway, the highly popular show has created much anticipation for a touring production. Kinky Boots will be the first Broadway show to launch a national tour in Las Vegas, which is a dazzling fit.

Prospect Theater Company will present a private developmental reading of the original musical The Underclassman on Monday, November 25th at New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street, NYC). The Underclassman follows the early life of F. Scott Fitzgerald, from 1914 - 1917. Brilliantly talented, Fitzgerald is swept into the hierarchy of Ivy League society and the antics of the Princeton Triangle Club, in pursuit of the beautiful and elusive debutante Ginevra King - who became the model for the character of Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.

Industry professionals hoping to find new cast members for their next projects and Emerson Alumni showed up to support and welcome the talented group to show business.
