Rated P for Parenthood, the Off-Broadway musical comedy, has announced the final two weeks of performances upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) before playing its final performance on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Rated P for Parenthood, a new musical comedy in its Off-Broadway debut now on stage upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street), welcomed its first marriage proposal following the evening performance on Wednesday, March 7th. Long Island resident David Troy joined the cast following the curtain call to call his girlfriend, Dellene Kornitsky on stage. As the audience applauded, Mr. Troy popped the question. Ms Kornitsky answered, "Of course!"

Midtown Direct Rep will hold a fundraising event to benefit the company during the opening week of Rated P for Parenthood, it was announced today. The Special MDR Off-Broadway fundraiser ticket will include prime orchestra seats to the Friday, March 20th 8:00 p.m. performance, exclusive talk back with the cast and the creators of Rated P, and a champagne after-party coach ride back to SOPAC with members of the cast, Ms. Rustin, Mr. Dobrish and producers who all call South Orange/Maplewood home.

The Commercial Theater Institute's (CTI) upcoming 3-Day Producing Conference will take place on April 29 - May 1, 2011. The 30th Annual 3-Day Conference features an outstanding cast of top Broadway producers including: David Stone, Hal Luftig, Kristin Caskey, Larry Hirschhorn, Todd Haimes, Ted Chapin, and Kevin McCollum. Driving Miss Daisy's successful February talkback series concludes tomorrow night (Wednesday, 2/23), when Kathryn Stockett, bestselling author of The Help, and Columbia professor Jonathan Schorsch take the stage at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45 Street) for a post-performance discussion immediately following the evening performance.
