1776 is now playing at Roundabout’s American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, January 8, 2023. Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen) is joining Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of 1776 as “John Adams,” directed by Jeffrey L. Page and Diane Paulus, and co-produced with the American Repertory Theater (ART), beginning tonight, October 25.

Beginning Tuesday, October 25, Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen) will lead the cast of Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of 1776 as 'John Adams.' 1776 begins preview performances on Friday, September 16, 2022 and opens officially on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Signature Theatre has extended the New York premiere of Dominique Morisseau’s Confederates, directed by Stori Ayers to April 24. The production, running in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W. 42nd Street, New York), opened March 27.

Sony Masterworks Broadway today released the official music video for “Be The Light” from the Studio Cast Recording of WITNESS UGANDA (AN AMERICAN MUSICAL). The emotionally-charged ballad features vocals by GRAMMY Award-winning R&B songstress Ledisi alongside Griffin Matthews, Emma Hunton, and the Witness Uganda ensemble.

Sony Masterworks Broadway today releases the Studio Cast Recording of WITNESS UGANDA (AN AMERICAN MUSICAL), an album of music from the powerful musical envisioned by the creative duo of Matt Gouldand Griffin Matthews. 

The American Theater Group (ATG), Somerset County’s newest professional theater company, will present a series of free Monday night play readings in February and March at the Mitchell and Ann Sieminski Theater at the Fellowship Cultural Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. All performances will begin at 7pm and are open to the public; tickets are not required.
