LIVING FOR TODAY presented a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: “Put on a Happy Face”, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St).

UnsungMusicalsCo. heads to Washington, D.C. where Show Time! creator Ben West will give a two-part lecture series for The Library of Congress entitled Diversity and the Birth of Broadway.

LIVING FOR TODAY will present a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: a?oePut on a Happy Facea??, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 7PM. The concert is produced and directed by David Alpert (If/Then, The Apple Boys) with music direction by Jason Wetzel (After Midnight). Tickets are priced $15 and $25; with a select amount of $100 VIP seats which includes an after-show champagne toast with the company. Tickets are available at www.joespub.com. The concert will feature a live band and Broadway stars performing their favorite showtunes, all chosen to make us smile.

UnsungMusicalsCo. presents the new documentary musical 45 Minutes from Coontown, created, written and performed by Ben West, the founder of UMC and a 2017 recipient of Lincoln Center's Martin E. Segal Award, with musical continuity and arrangements by Fran Minarik, and direction and musical staging by Parker Esse.

"A Fine Bromance" played to a sold-out crowd in its first appearance at Feinstein's/54 Below in the fall of 2017. Jeff Kready (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables) and Tally Sessions (War Paint, Falsettos, School of Rock) bring an evening of jazz standards, classic show tunes and new favorites, with their own special brand of hilarity, to Feinstein's/54 Below. The Rat Pack meets Simon & Garfunkel meets Abbott & Costello. They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry, and some of it will be on purpose. You won't want to miss this late night musical extravaganza of comfort food and belly laughs for the soul.

Performances ran July 10 & 11 at The Pershing Square Signature Center, The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre (480 West 42nd St.), and waas produced by Royal Family Productions. Some of the biggest names on Broadway have graced the Joe's Pub stage. The tradition continues this month and into the fall when some of Broadway's finest vocalists and performers, including Sasha Allen and Ute Lemper, head downtown from the Great White Way to dazzle at Joe's.

Mara Davi has announced the Album Release Concert for her first album, Unspoken, with her new band, Mara and the Bitter Suite. This full-length album of original songs is the product of collaboration between Mara Davi (lyrics), and her long time friend and music director, Adam Waite (music). The concert will be at Joe's Pub, August 26th, at 9:30 PM. For tickets, visit www.joespub.com.

THE WATER DREAM SUMMER PARTY!, with live rock and contemporary music theatre performed by Anthony Rapp (RENT) with Doug Chapman, Alexis Hightower, Justin Hines, Emily Otto & Kris Rogers under the musical direction of Emily Otto (Southern Comfort, Stolen Chair), will take place on Saturday June 30, 2012 8-10 PM at The Irish Rogue, 356 West 44th Street - Upstairs. There will be a live auction. Proceeds go towards the New York premiere of The Water Dream in 2013.
