It is with great shock and sadness that Cleveland Play House shared the news of the passing of Managing Director Kevin Moore. On Saturday, October 24th, Kevin tragically died possibly due to a pulmonary embolism or heart attack. He was 59 years old.

Cleveland Play House has announced that its 2020-2021 theatrical season will include a series of virtual performances, programs, and special events. Amid the health, safety, and economic challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis, Cleveland Play House (CPH) will provide engaging, inspiring, and entertaining programming during its 105th consecutive season of serving the Northeast Ohio community.

While the COVID-19 pandemic may have closed down live performances, The Human Race has not let it stop them from presenting their Playreading Series - this time as a virtual reading of a new play by Yellow Springs playwright Robb Willoughby called Look Into My Eyes. This streaming reading will benefit The Foodbank, a vital organization solving hunger in the Miami Valley - especially now!

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announces 11 awards granted from their Frank Young Fund for New Musicals(formerly known as the National Fund for New Musicals), and six awards granted from their Innovation & Exploration Fund.

The 2019-20 Human Race Theatre season at the Loft Theatre coincides with the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, the first step in all women having the right to vote and the catalyst for our movements for Equality.

The Human Race continues its 32nd Season with A. R. Gurney's Sylvia, April. 25 - May 12, 2019 at the Loft Theatre. The preview performance of Sylvia is Thursday, April 25. Opening night is Friday, April 26.

With generous support from the Rite Aid Foundation, Cleveland Play House (CPH) has been awarded a KidCents Regional Grant, which will provide $30,000 to support out-of-school-time learning activities for children.
