The Off-Broadway smash Ruthless! The Musical will end its 14-month run on September 10th, prior to a national tour which will kick off in November -- finalized dates will be announced soon.

Original cast member Tracy Jai Edwards returns to Off-Broadway's musical smash RUTHLESS! tonight (June 20) in the dual roles of Eve Allabout and Louise Lerman. Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, the show was recently extended through September 10th.

The new recording of RUTHLESS! The Musical, produced by Robert Sher for Caroline Records, will feature the entire original cast: Peter Land, Kim Maresca, Tori Murray, Rita McKenzie, Andrea McCullough, and Tracy Jai Edwards. The recording is set for today (Tuesday) at Carriage House Studios, with music supervision by Marvin Laird and music direction by Ricky Romano.

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Shelian-Shanks) gathers today for the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, hosted by 2016 Tony® Award-nominees, Zachary Levi (She Loves Me) and Megan Hilty (Noises Off), in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). 

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. Feinstein's/54 Below presented the youngest solo performer in cabaret history, 11-year-old Tori Murray, in READY OR NOT, HERE I COME! on March 29th. The triumphant, sold-out evening showcased Off-Broadway's newest star, who received unanimous critical acclaim for her performance as Tina Denmark in the current award-winning musical smash RUTHLESS!

Now extended into the summer, RUTHLESS! opened on July 13, 2015 to unanimous rave reviews led by Entertainment Weekly which called the show, 'Uproarious! A mash-up of THE BAD SEED, GYPSY, ALL ABOUT EVE, plus the films of Douglas Sirk and John Waters!' Just some of the celebrities who have been spotted in the audience so far include Ron Howard, Regis & Joy Philbin, Bernadette Peters, Lynn Cohen, Chelsie Hightower, Mario Cantone, Rex Reed, Dmitry Chaplin, Laura Bell Bundy, Barbara Eden, Jan Maxwell, Legacy, Larry Thomas (The Soup Nazi), Jackie Hoffman, Sierra Boggess, Dame Gillian Lynne, Jerry Dixon, Von Smith, Jacque LeWarne, Emily James, and Jonathan Platero. This newly imagined production of RUTHLESS! recently received the coveted 2015 Odyssey Nightlife Award for Best Off Broadway Show, and actor Paul Pecorino was honored for Best Breakthrough Off Broadway Performance.

Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of the Off-Broadway smash, Ruthless! The Musical, today put a new block of seats on sale through June 18th.

Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of RUTHLESS! recently put a new block of seats on sale through April 2nd. There will be an early 1:30 PM curtain this Saturday in order to accommodate a special meet & greet/celebration with the cast immediately after the matinee. RUTHLESS! opened July 13th to unanimous rave reviews led by Entertainment Weekly which called the show, "Uproarious! A mash-up of THE BAD SEED, GYPSY, ALL ABOUT EVE, plus the films of Douglas Sirk and John Waters!" Book and lyrics are by Joel Paley with music by Marvin Laird. Paley also directed the original production of RUTHLESS! as well as productions in L.A., South Beach and the record-breaking concert event starring Bernadette Peters. He once again serves as director of the new production, with Marvin Laird on board as music supervisor as well.

Odyssey New York Magazine presented the 2015 Odyssey Nightlife Awards at a star-studded gala this past Friday, January 15th at XL New York. RUTHLESS! Off-Broadway's hit musical RUTHLESS! has added a special holiday matinee tomorrow, December 30th at 2 PM. Because the season is only enriched by extraordinary, musical tales of murderous children.

Ron Howard took in a performance of the Off-Broadway hit Ruthless! The Musical this past Saturday, November 7th. After laughing heartily throughout the entire show, Howard was the first to leap to his feet at the curtain call's standing ovation. As a former top international child star himself, Howard was particularly interested in meeting the 11-year-old star of RUTHLESS!, Tori Murray. The two can be seen below posing and goofing with each other after Saturday's performance!

Off-Broadway's hit musical RUTHLESS! has added a special performance tomorrow, November 12th at 7 PM in observance of Veteran's Day. The show's creators, Marvin Laird and Joel Paley, are proud veterans themselves. (Veterans of negotiating the minefields of showbiz, that is.)

The two leading ladies and mother/daughter duo from RUTHLESS!, Kim Maresca and Tori Murray, are set to perform at Jim Caruso's 'Cast Party' tonight at 9:30 PM.

Longtime partners and the creators of the hit musical RUTHLESS!, Marvin Laird and Joel Paley, were married in a private ceremony this past Sunday, November 1st. It was truly a family affair with two of the producers, Maxine Paul and Evan Sacks, standing up for the resplendent grooms as maid of honor and best man respectively. (Reports remain spotty on precisely who stood up for whom.) The initial announcement of the nuptials occurred at the July 13th opening night of RUTHLESS! when Paley proposed to Laird while making a celebratory toast at the post-performance party. Sunday's wedding was held at the beautiful home of the show's third producer, Ken Schur, and his lovely and charming wife Janet. Attendees included Bernadette Peters, Lynn Cohen and select A-listers from the RUTHLESS! company. Scroll down for photos!
