A&E has greenlit the four-hour documentary series, “The Chicano Squad” (working title), chronicling a groundbreaking team of bilingual patrol officers plucked from their beats and suddenly promoted to Detectives to form the first all-Latin homicide unit dedicated to tackling Houston’s soaring rate of Latin homicide cases in 1979.

When TaKiyah Wallace signed her daughter up for ballet, she noticed a serious lack of representation for brown girls in the classes. As a result, she started the non-profit organization Brown Girls Do Ballet, which gives girls of all backgrounds the resources and support needed to pursue their passion. Kelly surprises TaKiyah with a message from ballet superstar Misty Copeland and donates $5,000 to help her organization keep thriving.

The CW Network will officially launch its new season in January 2021 with its regularly scheduled series line-up, while loading up Fall 2020 with fresh original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The CW Network.
