Strawdog Theatre Company and Artistic Director Hank Boland have announced the extension of the remount of Charles Dickens' classic Great Expectations, adapted by Gale Childs Daly and directed by Jason W. Gerace, through Saturday, Dec. 20 at Strawdog Theatre, 3829 N. Broadway St. The performance schedule is Thursdays -Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. with a fully accessible performance at Victory Gardens Wednesday, Dec.10 at 8 p.m. with touch tour at 6:45 p.m. Single Tickets are $28 and on sale now. On April 10, TheatreSquared will launch its first mainstage Shakespeare production with the playwright's signature drama, Hamlet, starring Grant Goodman. The production is helmed by director Sean Patrick Reilly and features a professional cast including T2 associate artistic director Amy Herzberg. As Hamlet begins, the king has been poisoned by his own brother, who now claims the throne and queen. Visited by his father's ghost, Prince Hamlet learns of his uncle's treachery - and vows revenge. TheatreSquared's original production is on stage from April 10 through May 4, 2014, at Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios in Fayetteville (505 W. Spring Street). TheatreSquared's A CHRISTMAS CAROL Begins 12/5

TheatreSquared Artistic Director Robert Ford and Managing Director Martin Miller announced today the cast and creative team for the theatre's original adaptation of Charles Dickens's holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Directed by Morgan Hicks (Noises Off, Boeing-Boeing), this world premiere stage adaptation will feature eight professional actors performing more than 40 roles. Performances are scheduled for December 5-29, 2013, in the 175-seat Studio Theatre at Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios in Fayetteville.
