Opera Australia's largest and most ambitious production returns to Melbourne in 2016. Directed by Neil Armfield, Wagner's Ring Cycle will play at Arts Centre Melbourne from 21 November to 16 December 2016. Melbourne Ring Cycle 2016 comprises four operas - Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung - totalling around 16 hours of music. As in 2013, the cycle of four operas will be performed three times.

The producers of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage announced casting for the third year of the North American Tour, which coincides with the film's 30th anniversary. Christopher Tierney, having originally performed the role of Johnny Castle during the 2015 Toronto engagement, returned to the show during its most recent North American tour and will once again thrill audiences alongside the fast-rising young star Bronwyn Reed as Frances "Baby" Houseman. The Orpheum Theatre announced today that individual tickets for the Memphis premiere of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will go on sale Friday, July 22 at 10 AM. Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will launch the third year of its North American tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN, September 13 - 18. Following two successful years on the road with many sold out engagements, the stage adaptation of the worldwide smash-hit film will continue on to play over 30 markets in North America including first time engagements in Miami, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, return engagements in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, St. Louis and many more.
