Directed by Robert A. Miller, All My Sons previews on Thursday, Sept. 5, and runs Sept. 6-22, in the Rauh Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, 222 Craft Ave. Performances are 8 p.m., Thursday - Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Following a whirlwind week in May auditioning talent from Pittsburgh and New York City, Front Porch Theatricals and Carrnivale Theatrics announce their cast for their upcoming production of In the Heights. The cast of 25 hail from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, New York, Florida, Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania, and includes eleven ensemble members and five principals who have roots in Pittsburgh (including nine students from Point Park University and five from Carnegie Mellon University).

Point Park University junior musical theatre majors Maggie Carr and Justin Fortunato, along with Duquesne University major Bob Neumeyer, recently founded Carrnivale Theatrics, a group of music and theatre majors from local schools who are pooling their talent to raise money for charity. They will stage Sweeney Todd as their premiere production at the New Hazlett Theater, July 16 - 18, 2009. Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
