Off-Broadway's The New Group will honor Ed Harris & Amy Madigan and Ellen Roth at the company's Annual Gala on Monday, March 7 at Tribeca Rooftop (2 Desbrosses Street between Hudson & Greenwich). Hosted by Mario Cantone, the event will feature performances by Jerry Dixon and Nat and Alex Wolff, and an appearance by playwright Beth Henley, author of Crimes of the Heart and The Jacksonian. Music Director is Sinai Tabak. The evening, 6:00-10:00pm, includes cocktails, dinner, and silent and live auctions.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a second extension for Sam Shepard's Buried Child, now playing through April 3. Originally set to play through March 13, an extension through Sunday, March 27 was recently announced for this limited Off-Broadway engagement. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris,Amy Madigan, Larry Pine, Rich Sommer, Paul Sparks and Nat Wolff. 'Desire' directed by Michael Wilson will be performed at 59E59 Theaters through October 10th. Six plays based on the short stories of Tennessee Williams are wonderfully adapted and feature outstanding performances by The Acting Company.

The New Group presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, which launched the company's 2015-16 season last night, August 19, 2015 (previews began August 5). MERCURY FUR by Philip Ridley is directed by Scott Elliott and runs at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (480 West 42nd Street).

59E59 Theaters will welcome The Acting Company to the 2015/2016 5A Season with the US premiere of DESIRE An Evening of Plays Based on Six Stories by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Michael Wilson, DESIRE features new plays written by John Guare, Beth Henley, Marcus Gardley, Rebecca Gilman, David Grimm and Elizabeth Egloff. DESIRE begins performances on Wednesday, September 2 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 11. Opening Night is Thursday, September 10 at 7 PM. Signature Theatre's What I Did Last Summer, written by A.R. Gurney and directed by Jim Simpson, will welcome Izzie Steele (The Heart of Robin Hood) in the role of 'Elsie' (previously played by Kate McGonigle) beginning tonight, June 2nd. The production runs through June 7 at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

The New Group presents the world premiere production of The Spoils, a new play written by and featuring Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Scott Elliott. This production will feature Erin Darke, Annapurna Sriram and Michael Zegen, and as previously announced, Jesse Eisenberg and Kunal Nayyar. The show opens tonight, June 2, for a limited Off-Broadway engagement slated through June 28 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).
