Pens and paper at the ready! On Sunday 19th April at 5:45pm, Jordan Li-Smith (Musical Director and Composer) will be hosting the 2nd #LockdownMTQuizNight, a live-stream musical theatre quiz night via Facebook Live, to raise money for NHS Charities Together.

MPTheatricals are working in collaboration with The Other Palace to present on hope: a digital song cycle - a live, one of a kind musical theatre trilogy exploring the many shades of hope. Written by over 60 composers from around the world, on hope: a digital song cycle explores the spectrum of sounds, experiences and perspectives of hope.

Pint of Wine Theatre Company's acclaimed production of Michael John LaChiusa's Queen of the Mist is to transfer to Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited seven-week season from 15 August to 5 October 2019.

This is the UK professional premiere of Amour, a musical fantasy about daring to dream and the power of self belief, with music by multi award-winning Michel Legrand with English lyrics by Jeremy Sams (from the original French by Didier Van Cauwelaert).

Amour runs at Charing Cross Theatre from Thursday 2 May - Saturday 20 July. Gary Tushaw plays Dusoleil and Anna O'Byrne plays Isabelle. Alasdair Harvey plays the Prosecutor, Isabelle's controlling husband.

Amour is a delightful fable that bathes you in the warmth of Legrand;s music and Sams' lyrics, brilliantly realised by a hardworking cast under the sure direction of Hannah Chissick. Musical Theatre at its most transporting.

Queen of the Mist is a curious musical about the nearly forgotten woman who was first to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel and who lived to tell her story - the problem was that few wanted to hear it the way she told it.
