The sixth Singers Soiree charity concert has announced its transfer from Battersea Barge to the St Giles-in-the-Fields church, just off of Tottenham Court Road on 6 September. Not only does this new venue offer a much more central location but it also boats a seating capacity of more than 10 times the previous venue (moving from 70 to 700 seats).

Thirteen years after its Los Angeles debut, the cult musical Bare will get its European premiere at the Union Theatre, running now through 25 May 2013, directed by Paul Taylor-Mills. Opening night is set for April 30 at 7.30pm. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

Rogers, Ark., is gearing up to host the FLW College Fishing National Championship April 19-21 on Beaver Lake. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents HAIRSPRAY, starring Jim J. Bullock. Known for his work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, LA Theater and Television, including the series Too Close for Comfort and The New Hollywood Squares, Jim previously performed the role of Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway. This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray closes July 17, 2011.
