Beaver Lake To Host FLW College Fishing National Championship

Rogers, Ark., is gearing up to host the FLW College Fishing National Championship April 19-21 on Beaver Lake. Twenty-five teams from across the country have competed in 20 qualifying events and five conference championship tournaments, and the top five teams from each conference now will compete for the title of national champion in this three-day nationally televised event.

The producing team behind The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre) and The Children of Eden Gala Concert (Prince of Wales Theatre), Aria Entertainment and Knockhardy Productions are delighted to announce that their concert revival of Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman's three times Tony Award winning musical The Secret Garden will transfer to the Greenwich Theatre for one night only as part of the Greenwich children's theatre festival following a successful run at The King's Head Theatre.

'Ghost in the Machine' is the first play by Mike Leon. Originally produced at Williams College in October, 2010, the play will close on October 23, presented by Theater for the New City in association with The Dead Copycats. Director is Nathaniel Basch-Gould.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents HAIRSPRAY, starring Jim J. Bullock. Known for his work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, LA Theater and Television, including the series Too Close for Comfort and The New Hollywood Squares, Jim previously performed the role of Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway. This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray closes July 17, 2011.

This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray opens June 21 and runs through July 17, 2011.
