Maria has released a few solo and collaborative records (Flow was The Guardian’s jazz album of the month and nominated as album of the year in the Jazz Revelations Awards), but her forthcoming album, Forest City feels like the turning of a page as she liberates herself from the structures of jazz.

Kicking off in Los Angeles on Saturday May 21st at the renowned Lighthouse Immersive Artspace, the evening will feature entrancing live music and art by a line up of the preeminent artists in this emerging genre: Jon Hopkins, East Forest and Superposition.

Multi-instrumentalist and trained pianist Maria Chiara Argirò has released her textural and emotional new single “Greenarp”. Forest City was recorded and self-produced between her bedroom and her studio, with the help of In a Sleeping Mood and mixing engineer Alex Killpartrick.

Today, creators of Lightning in a Bottle Festival and immersive art leaders, Do LaB have announced the 2022 artist lineup for their iconic stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 15-17 and 22-24.

New additions to the lineup include Maribou State DJ, George FitzGerald Live, Mount Kimbie, Romy, TSHA, Ela Minus Live, Max Cooper Live, Ben Böhmer Live, and Theo Nasa. Previously announced artists include Jon Hopkins, Avalon Emerson, Chaos in the CBD, Four Tet, Zenker Brothers, Adam Beyer, Omar plus more with Maceo Plex playing both days.

The Silence in Between — the highly anticipated new album from GRAMMY® Award-winning duo Bob Moses is now available on all streaming platforms. In celebration of The Silence in Between’s arrival, Bob Moses have shared a new single and video called “Hanging On,” a heavy-hearted but wildly life-affirming anthem.

Forest City was recorded and self-produced between her bedroom and her studio with the help of her collaborators and electronic producers, In a Sleeping Mood and mixing engineer Alex Killpartrick. For the first time, she sings with her airy, otherworldly vocals on “Blossom” and “Clouds,' resembling Emiliana Torrini.

Today Do LaB, originators and creators of the boutique festival experience Lightning in a Bottle, have announced the phase two music lineup for the event's 2022 return to Buena Vista Lake in Southern California.

Bassist, producer, and songwriter Joshua Crumbly released the Giraffe Studios-directed video for his song “Kolkata.” The track is off of Crumbly’s recently released full-length ForEver — guests on the album include Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Gendel, Jay Bellerose, and more. Today Do LaB has revealed the lineup for the event's 2022 return to Buena Vista Lake in Southern California. For five days on Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-30, LIB will gather a unique blend of torchbearers from an array of genres and origins to its renowned creative tapestry.

UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK is a celebration of creativity taking place across the UK in 2022, designed to reach millions and bring people together. It features free large-scale events, installations and globally accessible digital experiences in the UK’s most ambitious showcase of creative collaboration. 

The Pacific Northwest Ballet was back on stage in Seattle’s McCaw Hall in September of 2021, dancing for a live audience for the first time since the pandemic closed dance studios and theaters worldwide. Yet as welcome as that return to in-person performing was, PNB chose not to do away with the digital programming that had been its only option for over a year.
