Brooklyn based indie folk-rock outfit Common Jack was formed by singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist John Gardner during a two and a half year world tour with the actor-musician Broadway show, ONCE.

Colorado Ballet seeks schools and organizations throughout Colorado and out-of-state to participate in free remote live streams of its student matinee performances of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker during the 2016-2017 season. The Swan Lake live stream will take place at 10 a.m. MST on October 6 and The Nutcracker live stream will take place at 11 a.m. MST on December 2.

Award-winning playwright Lynda Crawford's new play Familiar Strangers will have a staged reading at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity on Wednesday, July 6th at 1:30 pm followed by a talk-back. The play was inspired by the book Stranger to the System: Life Portraits of a NYC Homeless Community (Curbside Press) by Jim Flynn. The reading is directed by Terry Greiss, who is the co-founder of Irondale Ensemble Project.

There are a lot of ups and downs and plenty of antagonists they have to deal with along the way. One of them is Eamon, the sound engineer at a recording studio. His own jaded past threatens the future for Guy and Girl. We recently caught up with John Steven Gardner, who plays Eamon and he shared his unique road to the role and how he feels about living the dream.

The National Theater Institute has partnered with the Moscow Art Theatre for nearly 25 years and is the longest cultural and educational exchange between Russia and United States. NTI offers the only opportunity for U.S. undergraduates to train at the famed Moscow Art Theatre School. The 13-week, credit-earning program offered each fall allows students to study in the birthplace of modern theater.
