Ahead of that, he presents the lead single 'The Weeping Souls'. Self-produced by Polonsky, this album was mixed and mastered by Mike Tholen (Chris Connelly, Revolting c*cks).

Musical legends Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox / Dave Stewart p/k/a Eurythmics, Ernie Isley / Marvin Isley / O'Kelly Isley / Ronald Isley / Rudolph Isley / Chris Jasper p/k/a The Isley Brothers, Steve Miller, Chad Hugo / Pharrell Williams p/k/a The Neptunes, Rick Nowels and William “Mickey” Stevenson will become the latest inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization's 51st Annual Induction and Awards Dinner. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, 'Vision of Love,”  “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” “Shout,” “The Joker,” “Hollaback Girl,” “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” and “Dancing In The Street.” The star-studded induction event is slated for Thursday, June 11th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Additional special award honorees will be announced soon.

Petaluma Records to Release STOP, HEY WHAT'S THAT SOUND

In January of 2020, as Americans get set to vote in the presidential primaries, Petaluma Records will release Stop, Hey What's That Sound: Classic Protest Songs Reimagined with liner notes from famed music critic Rob Tannenbaum.  Announced the compilation for a January 31, 2020 release with a premiere of a video for Renee Holiday & Nigel Harrison's (Blondie) cover of Patti Smith's 1988, “People Have The Power” via Audiofemme – share via YouTube.  Proceeds from the single, out tomorrow, will go to support Headcount.org.

Photographer and revered long-time on-air radio personality Julie Kramer will uncover her new rock & roll photography exhibition The Basement Archives: The Ghosts of WFNX: Volume II, taking over Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) with over 100 portraits and live-concert images of celebrity musicians. The exhibition takes place at Boston Center for Adult Education, located at 122 Arlington Street, in Boston's Back Bay. The exhibition runs July 20 through December 20, 2019, and the opening reception, Saturday, July 20 from 4-8pm, is free and open to the public with reservation at https:bcae.orgeventrsvp. As the Love Hope Strength Foundation continues its worldwide growth, the charity that promotes innovative, music related outreach and awareness programs for leukemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families has partnered with Zip World for Snowdonia Rocks and Zip World Rocks 2018. The June 23event in Wales, UK will kick off with the Snowdonia Rocks hike to be followed by the Zip World Rocks 2018 concert celebrationwith the goal to raise £20,000 for families affected by cancer in North Wales and beyond. This marks the first-ever festival for Zip World which has teamed with Love Hope Strength Foundation--the charity founded by Mike Peters of internationally acclaimed rock band THE ALARM--for the event.

Guitar slinger Jesse Dayton has released his new protest song “Charlottesville” via Rolling Stone Country today. The track was written in the wake of the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA in August 2017 that tragically saw counter-protestors injured and killed.  The track appears on his forthcoming album The Outsider, out June 8, 2018 on Blue Elan Records.
