Saturday June 7th was a spectacular day for Houston residents Brian Hampton and Keith Huckabay. The partners of 13 years, who consider NYC their second home, got married at Cop Cot in Central Park surrounded by family and friends. Some of these friends happened to double as Broadway stars, so the wedding was inevitably filled with singing, dancing, and showtunes.

It's Tonys Sunday! Tonight, the stars will align at Radio City Music Hall to celebrate the best of Broadway. While Radio City is the place to be for all of this year's nominees, most Broadway fans will have to settle for watching the ceremony, hosted by Hugh Jackman, on the CBS (8pm). On Sunday, June 8, both Joe Allen Restaurant and Orso Restaurant will be hosting exclusive Tony Awards viewing parties for a limited number of guests. Several monitors will be displayed throughout the dining rooms for guests to enjoy the broadcast from any table. A Prix Fixe Menu, created by Executive Chef, Victor Flores, will be available for dinner for $75 at Joe Allen, and $85 at Orso. The viewing party begins at 6:00 p.m. for red carpet coverage, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a raffle to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, followed by dinner and the Tony Awards telecast at 8:00 p.m. Reservations are required to attend.

Ghostlight Records has just released the original Broadway cast recording of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the new musical currently running at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The album - produced by Joel Moss and Kurt Deutsch, with Joey Parnes serving as Executive Producer - features a 40-page booklet with complete lyrics, color photos, a synopsis by librettist Robert L. Freedman and an essay by renowned theater writer and critic David Cote. The cast just celebrated the album release at Joe Allen and you can check out photos from the special event below!

Organized and overseen by the Joe Allen Academy of Arts & Bitching (JAAAB), 'The Joeys' are a set of awards given annually for excellence in food service and patronage at New York's City's famous Times Square celebrity hot-spots: Joe Allen, Orso and Bar Centrale.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, the Broadway spectacular that defied odds and expectations to conquer New York, will play its final performance at the Foxwoods Theatre on January 4, 2014. Since the announcement, there has been speculation as to whether the show, which ran for 3 years on Broadway, will make it to the infamous wall of flops at Joe Allen (326 West 46th Street).

On Sunday, December 8, Joe Allen, owner of Joe Allen Restaurant, Orso Restaurant, and Bar Centrale (W. 46th Street, NYC) donated 50% of the entire day's proceeds from all three restaurants to Save the Children for the organization's Typhoon Haiyan Children's Relief Fund to benefit children affected by the super typhoon in the Philippines. The three restaurants total raised $10,000 to donate, and then a charitable regular at Bar Centrale matched their total. The grand total to be donated to Save the Children for their typhoon relief is $12,500.

The hit West End production of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Sam Mendes, announced today that it has extended its booking period by six months until 1 November 2014. The show had previously been booking until 31 May 2014. The production, which has so far been seen by almost 300,000 people since it began previews in May 2013, is extending its run due to popular demand, releasing almost 400,000 extra tickets.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will celebrate its 22nd year as a not-for-profit service organization with a celebration of three extraordinary people at the annual TRU Love Benefit, Honoring Friendship, Remembering Friends. The 2013 TRU Spirit of Theater Award, presented to a member of the producing community who has demonstrated exceptional generosity, support and kindness to others in the business, will be posthumously awarded to producer Randall Wreghitt (Little Women, Beauty Queen of Leenane, Grey Gardens, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Golda's Balcony, As Bees in Honey Drown, The Food Chain) who died unexpectedly at the age of 55 in May 2011. The event will take place Sunday, November 17th at Caroline's on Broadway at 47th Street.

On Sunday, June 23, Joe Allen Restaurant will begin their newest tradition: the After Theater Cocktail Hour. Unlike other happy hours, though, this Broadway hangout's will begin at 9:30 p.m. and run until 11:30 p.m.- perfect timing for theater professionals just getting off work and theatergoers just leaving a show.
