Good morning, BroadwayWorld! This weekend's big news: John Leguizamo's LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS begins tonight, THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, starring James Earl Jones, opens this evening at A.R.T., and the next CONCERT FOR AMERICA is set for Saturday!

Jevon McFerrin, the young actor who has portrayed Alexander Hamilton in Hamilton on Broadway as an alternate to the musical's lead Javier Muñoz, will step into the role effective immediately while Mr. Muñoz takes a medical leave to recover from a physical injury, it has been announced by Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller.

Singer-songwriter and actress, Carrie Manolakos, will be the surprise special guest singer for the previously announced 'Aftermath: A Rock and Roll Inauguration Love-In' concert featuring Hamilton's Nik Walker and Friends.

42 Seven Productions (Broadway at W), W NY Times Square, and IndieFork kicks off the 2017 season with the new and exciting Live in the Living Room headliner series featuring Hamilton's Nik Walker and friends from Broadway's blockbuster hits HAMILTON, MISS SAIGON, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, and A BRONX TALE.

Alysha Deslorieux, J. Quinton Johnson, Bryan Terrell Clark, Taran Killam and Anthony Lee Medina will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton in principal roles, it has been announced by producer Jeffrey Seller.

Actor and Hollywood Records recording artist, Jordan Fisher makes his Broadway debut in Hamilton when he begins performances as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton tonight, November 22.

Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson will play George Washington in the Broadway production of HAMILTON one last time on Sunday, November 13. Jackson is currently filming CBS-TV's 'Bull' and has recorded an original song written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the new Disney film Moana in theaters this November. Mr. Jackson originated the role of George Washington and has played the role in HAMILTON since the musical began performances last year at the Public Theater.
