New York City-based singer Jenny Lynn Stewart is returning to the stage for a free event. Stewart will bring her musical performance 'New York Spirit' to New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Bruno Walter Auditorium, in Manhattan on Saturday, October 15, 2 p.m.

Boobs! The Musical: The World According To Ruth Wallis is a musical revue based on the music and lyrics of 50's/60's star Ruth Wallis. Using 23 of her songs, Boobs! tells the story of Wallis' international career and struggles with performing her naughty songs.

Over 200 people braved the rain on Monday night and gathered under the tent at the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center where the 2nd Annual Cabaret at the Circus gala was held benefitting 'Broadway For All', the non-profit organization that aims to transform the American stage and screen to reflect the diversity in America.

Firemark Media announced today that Ron Lynch (“Bob's Burgers”), Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24”), Alyssa Limperis (“Comedy Bang Bang”), Jenny Zigrino (BAS SANTA TWO),Will Weldon (“This is Not Happening”) and Brooks Wheelan (“Saturday Night Live”) have been cast alongside Fred Armisen in the upcoming horrorcomedy TOO LATE, directed by D.W. Thomas.  Based on a script by Tom Becker, the film will be produced by Ryan Lacen and Anthony Baldino, and will be executive produced by Lonnie Ramati. Jack De Sena (“Chris & Jack”), Billy Breed (“GREEN BOOK”), Paul Danke (“The Comedy Garage”) and Dwayne Perkins (“Funny You Should Ask”) round out the cast.  Jessica Sherman (“The Strain,” “Bates Motel” and Oscar-winning short Skin) is set as casting director. Shooting on the film that revolves around the LA underground comedy scene is set for later this month in Los Angeles.

The Riverlea Theatre Company, which is located in Hamilton, New Zealand, will present the New Zealand premiere of the Off-Broadway hit, Boobs! The Musical: The World According To Ruth Wallis. The holiday performances will run from Nov 25-Dec 16, 2017.

THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM, which opened last night on Broadway, is directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman. With music byFelix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th atBroadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Sunday, May 5th. Opening night is set for Tuesday, April 16th. The late Lynn Redgrave has a ball singing Ira Gershwin and Kurt Weill's 'The Saga of Jenny' from Lady in the Dark. This video is taken from a PBS special called 'Musical Comedy Tonight 2,' the second of 3 specials put together by Sylvia Fine Kaye and featuring selections from classic musicals. Reprising the number with her are Danny Kaye and Richard Crenna. The special aired February 11, 1981.

The American Theatre Wing's 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, 2009 and broadcast on the CBS Television Network. The stars mixed and mingled after the big event at the official Tony Awards Gala Ball. BroadwayWorld's cameras were there to capture the festive event!

The American Theatre Wing presented its annual spring gala, last night, Monday, June 1, 2009 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). As in years past, the American Theatre Wing Spring Gala will brought together the best of Broadway. Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman served as the evening's Honorary Chair and Mrs. Schuyler G. Chapin, Lucia Hwong Gordon and Anthony D. Leeds served as Gala Co-Chairs. The entertainment portion of the evening was produced by Class Productions and directed by Lauren Class Schneider. All proceeds benefit the education and outreach programs of the American Theatre Wing.

The new musical Next to Normal officially opened on Broadway on April 15th. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there as the cast celebrated opening night at the Edison Balroom.
