Oscar and Tony-winner Joel Grey who directed this new critically acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish is joined on stage by Broadway veteran Steven Skybell (Tevye), Emmy-nominated actress Jackie Hoffman (Yente), and Jennifer Babiak (Golde) for a celebratory talk and performance of songs from the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish now playing at Stage 42 on New York City's 42nd Street through September 1.

The word 'meshugge' seemed to really pop out for the audience, receiving a big laugh when uttered by Tevye the night this reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully acted and sung National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's production of Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein's classic 1964 musical based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof.

Producers Hal Luftig and Jana Robbins in association with Sandy Block announced that the critically-acclaimed National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish begins previews on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Stage 42 (422 W 42nd St.). The production will open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019.

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey, will be releasing a cast album. The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.
