Robots taking over the world, a critic reviewing difficult life experiences, social networking, a closed-captioner gone wild, a music group trying to get discovered online and reviving a public affairs show from the 80's. These are just a few of the creative concepts coming out of COMEDY CENTRAL's 2011-2012 development slate announced today by Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production, COMEDY CENTRAL.

TBS Orders Vince Vaughn Produced 'Sullivan and Son' Pilot

TBS has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot of Sullivan and Son, starring popular comedian Steve Byrne and executive-produced by Vince Vaughn (The Break- Up)and Peter Billingsley (Iron Man). The project comes to TBS from Vaughn's Wild West Picture Show Productions and Warner Horizon Television. The pilot is being written by Byrne and executive producer/showrunner Rob Long (Cheers).

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'
NBC Renews CHUCK, Adds Four New Scripted Series For 2010-11

NBC has issued pickups for four more new scripted series with dramas 'The Cape,' 'Outlaw,' 'Harry's Law' and the comedy 'Friends With Benefits' - while renewing the action-comedy series 'Chuck' for a fourth season -- all for the 2010-11 season. The announcement was made today by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

TV Guide Network today announced the first round of celebrity panelists to join 'Curb: The Discussion' - exclusive, never-before-seen extras that will air immediately following each 'Curb' episode premiering on the network starting this summer. Comedian and frequent Larry David collaborator Jerry Seinfeld, Oscar(R) nominatedactress Taraji P. Henson and Golden Globe Award(R) winning 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm are confirmed to appear as celebrity panelists on 'Curb: The Discussion' when 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' debuts on TV Guide Network Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
