Robots taking over the world, a critic reviewing difficult life experiences, social networking, a closed-captioner gone wild, a music group trying to get discovered online and reviving a public affairs show from the 80's. These are just a few of the creative concepts coming out of COMEDY CENTRAL's 2011-2012 development slate announced today by Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production, COMEDY CENTRAL.

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces the following concerts going on sale this week.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Conan O'Brien has sold his FAT CHANCE comedy project to the TBS cable network. Sells 'Fat Chance' Comedy Project to TBS (Exclusive).

TBS has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot of Sullivan and Son, starring popular comedian Steve Byrne and executive-produced by Vince Vaughn (The Break- Up)and Peter Billingsley (Iron Man). The project comes to TBS from Vaughn's Wild West Picture Show Productions and Warner Horizon Television. The pilot is being written by Byrne and executive producer/showrunner Rob Long (Cheers).

TNT and TBS Announce Extensive Slate of New Projects from Top Talents, Including Mitch Albom, Thom Beers, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Conan O'Brien, Brad Paisley, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Richard North Patterson, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Joel Silver, Arthur Smith, Scott Turow, Bertram van Munster and John Wells.

Yesterday, June 16, the UJA-Federation's 2010 'Music Visionary of the Year' award luncheon took place at The Pierre Ballroom in New York City. The JA-Federation honored Julie Greenwald, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, and Craig Kallman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, at Atlantic Records Group. NBC has issued pickups for four more new scripted series with dramas 'The Cape,' 'Outlaw,' 'Harry's Law' and the comedy 'Friends With Benefits' - while renewing the action-comedy series 'Chuck' for a fourth season -- all for the 2010-11 season. The announcement was made today by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

TV Guide Network today announced the first round of celebrity panelists to join 'Curb: The Discussion' - exclusive, never-before-seen extras that will air immediately following each 'Curb' episode premiering on the network starting this summer. Comedian and frequent Larry David collaborator Jerry Seinfeld, Oscar(R) nominatedactress Taraji P. Henson and Golden Globe Award(R) winning 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm are confirmed to appear as celebrity panelists on 'Curb: The Discussion' when 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' debuts on TV Guide Network Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
