The National Theatre today announced full casting for the UK tour of Ibsen's masterpiece HEDDA GABLER. 

The National Theatre has announced that Lizzy Watts will take the title role of Hedda Gabler which, following a sold-out run at the National Theatre earlier this year, arrives at Theatre Royal, Glasgow in January next year.

The National Theatre has today announced that Lizzy Watts will take the title role of Hedda Gabler which, following a sold-out run at the National Theatre earlier this year, begins a UK tour on 2 October.  Beginning at Theatre Royal Plymouth, the tour will journey across the UK to Edinburgh, Leicester, Salford, Norwich, Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Woking, Nottingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, York and Milton Keynes.

Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre, the National Theatre's Hedda Gabler will arrive in Glasgow in January next year.

Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre, the NT will begin a UK tour of its acclaimed production of Hedda Gabler on 2 October 2017.  Beginning at Theatre Royal Plymouth,  the tour will journey across the UK to Edinburgh, Leicester, Salford, Norwich, Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Milton Keynes, where the tour finishes on 3 March 2018.

Today's subject is living his theatre life on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond. Jeff James is the Associate Director for the internationally and critically acclaimed production of A View from the Bridge, which begins performances this evening at Kennedy Center and runs through December 3rd. He has been a part of the current production of A View from the Bridge at the Young Vic in London, London's West End, Theatre de l'Odeon in Paris, and on Broadway where it won two Tony Awards (Best Director and Best Revival of a Play).

Rehearsals are underway for the Young Vic Production of Arthur Miller's 'A View From the Bridge' produced by Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Ivo van Hove, 'A View From the Bridge' will begin previews on September 7, with the opening set for September 14, 2016. Performances continue through October 16. The world premiere of award-winning playwright Ken Urban's Sense of an Ending, directed by Jonathan O'Boyle, will be showing at Theatre503 from May. This compelling political thriller shines a light on journalistic truth amid the atrocity of the Rwandan genocide. The production will run at Theatre503, The Latchmere, 503 Battersea Park Road, London SW11 3BW from today 12th May through Saturday 6th June 2015. Press Night: Friday 15th May 2015.
