The World Premiere of The Jungle Book at A. D. Players' Children's Theater, exceeded sales goals, closing on May 4th with over 90% of seats sold. The theater added three shows to the three week run to meet demand, with most shows selling out. The play was written by Will Ledesma and adapted from the classic adventure book by Rudyard Kipling.

The 2013 Texas Christian Film Festival will be honoring Houstonian Jeannette Clift George with their first Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in Christian Films including her Golden Globe nominated performance in 'The Hiding Place.' Written by one of the most produced playwrights of our time, Steven Dietz, who is currently in residence at the University of Texas Austin, the play had its World Premiere at Arizona Theatre Company in a co-production with Pasadena Playhouse in 2006, and has since played throughout the country.
