Nickelodeon and Masterworks Broadway recently announced that the Broadway-bound The SpongeBob Musical will release a cast album following a successful run at Broadway in Chicago's Oriental Theater.

? Liz Byrne ('Baby It's You') and Christopher Rice ('The Book of Mormon', Youtube's #TAPPY) will host a bevy or beloved Broadway performers for a fun-filled cabaret where they reveal the most ridiculous songs from their pasts and rock out to the most embarrassing songs in their iTunes! With lots of laughter and lots of love, these artists come together to raise money for the OneOrlando Fund to provide aid to the victims of the Pulse tragedy and their families.

Original stars of Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, Lindsay Nicole Chambers and Jason Michael Snow will return to the 777 Theatre for the first time to join THE SKIVVIES in their post-show performance tonight, July 30th, at 7PM.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has chosen Ryann Redmond (Bring It On) and Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon) to headline her soiree at The Duplex on January 14th. The eclectic evening will feature rising stars in stand-up, poetry, dance, songwriting, and performance art while Redmond and Snow accept creative dares that arise from Mme. M's insane imagination. A variety show with an avant garde twist, the Soiree is as unpredictable as the patroness herself.

This year's 10th Anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards (#bwaybackwards), which was held last night at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), featured some of the most memorable numbers from previous years. Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefitting BC/EFA and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York, the event was hosted by Honeymoon in Vegas star Rob McClure and Julie Halston. Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lily Tomlin will make a special guest appearance next month in the 10th anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards. Also joining the lineup is Honeymoon in Vegas star Rob McClure, who will share hosting duties with Julie Halston from the current hit revival of You Can't Take It With You.

Nicholas Christopher (Motown, Rent), Gavin Lodge (Annie, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Jacey Powers (Falling, Our Town), and Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man) have joined the cast of the upcoming Band Geeks in Concert at 54 Below on January 18th. Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, a new comedy written by Matt Murphy, based on the best-selling book by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, is now in its fourth smash month Off-Broadway at The 777 Theatre (777 Eighth Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets). Carson Kressley dropped by the show late last week just in time to say good bye to the comedy's original cast members and to welcome new cast members Grant MacDermott, Rachel Moulton, and BJ Gruber (who begin on Thursday, May 1).
