New Temptations Musical AIN'T TOO PROUD Extends at Berkeley Rep

Due to an overwhelming demand, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Ain't Too Proud-The Life and Times of The Temptations will extend for two additional weeks. Originally scheduled to close on October 8, the popular musical will now run through Sunday, October 22.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full casting and creative team for the world premiere of AIN'T TOO PROUD-THE TEMPTATIONS MUSICAL. The musical stage production will be directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. Berkeley Rep presents the show by special arrangement with Ira Pittelman and Tom Hulce (American Idiot, Spring Awakening).

FRIGHT NIGHT is a Halloween experience that will bring you thrilling Halloween tunes, some Rocky Horror classics, complete with a costume contest, and some trick or treat trivia, everything you need for a Broadway Halloween. Ben Cameron from the Broadway smash Wicked, and host of the long running hit 'Broadway Sessions,' will emcee the experience. Last week, I had the opportunity of speaking with Jarvis B. Manning Jr., a Texas native from the national tour of MOTOWN The Musical. In addition to speaking about returning to his hometown as a professional performer, Jarvis spoke about the unique experience of touring the country during the Michael Brown trials, and the emotion the cast has felt while performing in different cities.
