CRT to Stage Regional Premiere of SHERLOCK HOLMES & THE WEST END HORROR

For the fourth show in their 44th annual summer season, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the Central New York premiere of the new mystery/comedy "Sherlock Holmes & the West End Horror" by Marcia Milgrom Dodge and Anthony Dodge, adapted from the novel by Nicholas Meyer. Performances will run from July 29th - August 8th with evening performances at 7:30 PM.  Matinees are available on July 31st, 4th, and 5th at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org.

Cortland Repertory Theatre's third production in their 44th annual summer season is the regional theatre premiere of the 'creepy, kooky and all together ookie' musical 'The Addams Family', based on the iconic characters of TV, movies, and New Yorker cartoons drawn by Charles Addams. A recent show on Broadway, this new musical has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Cortland Rep Kids to Present THE JUNGLE BOOK

Cortland Repertory Theatre's "CRT KIDS" program will present four performances of an original version of the classic tale "The Jungle Book".  Written and directed by local playwright Kim L. Hubbard, the show stars CRT's six performing interns of the 2015 summer season.  Funny, entertaining and timely, it is appropriate for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, and carries an important message about friendship and ecology.

Stagedoor Manor to Kick Off 2011 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

A group of 140 Stagedoor Manor students from all over the world will sing and dance the opening number for this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. The number - an all-new original song written specifically for the event - will be a special celebration of the famed Parade's landmark 85th Anniversary. Following the opening, the students will then make their way to the top of the Parade route and march the entire length of the Parade, eventually escorting Santa Claus into Herald Square for the NBC national telecast's finale. This year's appearance will mark Stagedoor Manor's third consecutive Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performance.
