Dorset Theatre Festival is proud to present the World Premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's new comedy Out of the City beginning July 10th. This is the third world premiere that Dorset has produced in the past five seasons, continuing a tradition of New Play Development to which Artistic Director Dina Janis has proven deeply committed. "Fostering new work is one of the most important things we do here at Dorset, from our Young Playwrights workshops, to our New Play Reading Series, to these exciting World Premieres. It's a thrilling and rewarding process." Past world premieres have included Theresa Rebeck's The Novelist and The Whore and Mr. Moore by Michael Cristofer.

The Freeman Studio, the Tribeca-based acting studio led by Scott Freeman, continues to supplement its acting curriculum with an unusual mix of panels, talks and workshops in May. The so-called extracurricular activities, which give actors a rich environment in which to broaden creatively and even experiment, include free industry panels and talks, and low-cost workshops called Today Specials. Most of these add-ons are led by notable theatre artists, are either free or low-cost, and are open to the public.

Today we are talking to a versatile stage and screen actress who has scored in a number of unique roles on Broadway and around the country in addition to making a recent mark with her work on the Broadway-themed web series IT COULD BE WORSE - the passionate and compelling Alison Fraser. Emmy nominee Harris Yulin is set to star in Resonance Ensemble's production of June Finfer's THE GLASS HOUSE at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42nd St.) from May 9 through June 5.

Putting architects center stage is at the heart of Resonance Ensemble's 2010 season entitled 'Building Characters.' This season will feature in rep Ibsen's classic THE MASTER BUILDER, directed by Eric Parness and June Finfer's new play, THE GLASS HOUSE, directed by Evan Bergman.
