According to Deadline, the actor's deal is now dry to voice Rocket Raccoon, joining join previously announced Chris Pratt, as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana, as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, two-time Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou as Korath, with Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Academy Award nominee John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, and six-time Academy Award nominee Glenn Close as Nova Prime.

According to Deadline.com, Glenn Close will play a leader in Nova Corp in Marvel Studios' upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy. The movie, directed by James Gunn, is aiming to begin production next month.

Renowned WWE wrestler Dave Bautista has been enlisted by Marvel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the MMA fighter has landed the role of 'Drax the Destroyer,' in the studio's upcoming GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY flick being helmed by James Gunn. Bautista joins PARKS AND RECREATION's Chris Pratt for the film.

Deadline reports that Marvel Studios may have cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt in their upcoming superhero film GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Recent reports have revealed that Joel Edgerton, Jack Huston, Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace and Eddie Redmayne are also in the running to star in the film.

In a new production, which features several new songs and revised book by the Tony Award-winning creative team of Memphis, Bon Jovi founding member and keyboardist David Bryan and Joe DiPietro, Tony-nominated Constantine Maroulis takes center stage as the righteous superhero in the title role. John Rando (Tony Winner for Urinetown) returns to the Alley to reinvent his hilarious 2009 Off-Broadway staging of The Toxic Avenger following his smashing Alley productions of The Man Who Came to Dinner, Mrs. Mannerly and Be My Baby.
