Birdland Jazz Club is pleased to announce their amazing line-up of talent for July 28- August 3. Birdland will kick-off their great week of programming with the following acts.

Birdland Jazz Club has announced its July 2014 schedule, featuring Arturo O'Farrill, Loston Harris, Ben Allison Group, John Pizzarelli, Barbara Carroll, Rolando Morales-Matos, Linda Lavin, Jane Monheit, Jim Caruso's Cast Party, and MORE!

The Cutting Room will once again host MOTOWN THE MUSICAL's three-time Grammy Award nominated Ryan Shaw on Monday, April 21 at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8:00pm. The Tony Award nominated Brandon Victor Dixon and Epic Recording Artist Morgan James will join Ryan as special guests.

THE CUTTING ROOM will once again host RYAN SHAW, the two time Grammy nominee and star of MOTOWN The Musical (Stevie Wonder) on Broadway, on Monday evening, April 21 at 8:30pm (doors are at 8). Motown's Brandon Dixon and Epic Recording Artist Morgan James, will join Ryan at the April 21 show.

This week (Nov. 27 - Dec.1), Joe's Pub wil feature INNA BARMASH, MICHAEL CERVERIS, CARL HANCOCK RUX, MIKE VIOLA, PIERCE TURNER, OUR LADY J, REVEREND BILLY & THE STOP SHOPPING CHOIR, KENNY ENDO AND KAORU WATANABE'S CONVERGENCE, and JOEY ARIAS.

Following its re-activation in January 2013 with releases that included projects by Bill Frisell, Bob James & David Sanborn, Michel Camilo and John Medeski, SONY Masterworks' OKeh Records has announced their next wave of signings. The artists, who are part of the label's 'The Sound of Next' campaign are: saxophonist Craig Handy, Tunisian oudist/vocalist Dhafer Youssef, guitarist Nir Felder, drummer Jeff Ballard, saxophonist James Brandon Lewis, African vocalist Somi, and trumpeter Theo Croker.

Crosby created the role of Cinderella in the 1987 INTO THE WOODS, first at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and then on Broadway. Cinderella's Prince was played by Robert Westenberg, who Crosby later married.
