Young Entertainer Awards To Be Presented in December In Los Angeles

The 8th annual Young Entertainer Awards (YEA) will take place on Sunday, December 3, at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. Proceeds from tax-deductible ticket sales and donations will support scholarships for young people seeking to pursue careers in entertainment.

Play Theater, a performing arts program for kids in Scotch Plains, NJ is partnering with Team Car Wash, located at 215 South Avenue East in Westfield (next to Bohemian Raspberry Yogurt) on late October weekends for a Haunted Car Wash that will provide entertainment for guests who can choose between a silly or spooky experience.

While the second LYRICS FOR A CAUSE didn't happen in March as planned due to COVID-19 shutdowns, talented young performers joyfully sang in a virtual cabaret held Friday night live from their own homes. The cabaret, which was hosted by Spotlight Kidz (Pottsville, PA), was a benefit event for the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS).

The benefit is to help those directly affected by the tragedy and to raise awareness for better gun safety laws.
