The Down Town Glee Club, now in its 91ist year of showcasing exquisite male choral singing with live musical accompaniment, presents its annual winter concert at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 240 E. 31st Street, NYC on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Conductor and musical director Grant Mech will lead the men in a program of popular and traditional vocal fare.

It's a record-breaking 21st year at the Peacock Theatre for The Snowman, based on Raymond Briggs' beloved creation, with music from Howard Blake (including the iconic 'Walking in the Air'), choreography from Robert North and direction from Bill Alexander. Robert North looks back at the show's creation, ahead of its latest run beginning tonight.

The Morris Museum has programming this winter for children of all ages to enjoy. Programs range from a new exhibition about firefighters to a Winter Wonderland Family Fun Day, Teddy Bear Tea, Vacation Day programming, and children's theatre.

Out Front Theatre Company is ringing in the season with its first-ever holiday production, the world premiere of The Ethel Merman Disco Spectacular! Decking the halls with holiday tunes December 6-22, the production imagines what the legendary Ethel Merman's 1979 disco Christmas television special might have been. Featuring a dozen blood-pumping disco Christmas songs, arranged by Out Front's Resident Musical Director Nick Silvestri, the show takes place at the legendary Studio 54. Written and directed by Out Front Theatre's Founder and Producing Artistic Director Paul Conroy, the holiday special is the perfect change of pace that will have audiences dancing in the aisles, laughing in their seats and feeling the holiday spirit well into the New Year.

AMC has viewers covered this holiday season with “AMC Best Christmas Ever,” its largest slate of holiday programming ever featuring 35 films and 18 specials, airing all day, every day. Beginning Monday, November 26 through Christmas Day, the monthlong programming marathon will offer up more than 600 hours of holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films, as well as the television debut of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You (2017). Originally premiered June 2017, the Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) team is bringing this original production back with timely and amazing revisions and additions to the story and music. Josh Franklin, CSC alumni and Broadway veteran has teamed up with Linda Weise, original composer and librettist and CSC Founding CEO, to bring "Jack" to a whole new level. This moral musical tale presents Jack, a ten year old bully at school who is taken on a journey through a dream that includes some of literature's most famous "Jacks," as he comes to realize that life choices can determine your successes or otherwise.

Attack of the Killer Shrews, the wildly entertaining splatstick remake of the 1959 cult classic 'Killer Shrews' is coming to a living room near you. Starring Bill Kennedy as Sheriff Martin Blake, Liz Houlihan as B-movie Scream Queen Fiona Rae, and Jonathan Rogers as high brow professor & author Charles Perry, this deliberately awful display of puppetry follows a group of misfits as they defend the world against an invasion of monstrous killer shrews. 'We are grateful for the opportunity to expand the Shrewniverse while hopefully gaining new friends and fans to bring them along with us on this wacky roller coaster ride,' says White Lion Studios President Bill Kennedy. Complete with horrible shrew puppets and a special cameo by Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Entertainment, Attack of the Killer Shrews combines Mel Brooks style humor with a classic drive-in creature feature. World, watch out... she's back to play! According to an exclusive Deadline announcement, former SCHOOL OF ROCK standout Isabella Russo has been tapped as a series regular in the new ABC pilot, FOR LOVE. In the pilot, helmed by HOMELAND's John Dahl and written by Michael Cooney (JACK FROST, IDENTITY), Russo plays Alice, an innocent orphan girl taken in by the renowned Dumaine family, who, after being used in a strange ritual, finds herself possessed by the soul of its matriarch Marie Jojo, herself a centuries-old magic user with a cruel, controlling agenda.
