On Sunday, January 9 BBC AMERICA's Golden Sunday will feature a marathon of the six-part miniseries Luther - starring Golden Globe nominee, Idris Elba  before airing a 30 minute documentary, The King's Speech: Behind The Scenes, including never seen before footage from the cast and crew behind the multi-award winning movie, which has seven Golden Globe nominations.

BET Networks, a unit of Viacom ( VIA, VIA.B), today announced that entertainment superstar Queen Latifah has been tapped to host the tenth anniversary of the mega-hit, #1 rated awards show among African American viewers, the BET AWARDS. This much-anticipated special will broadcast LIVE from the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 8:00 P.M.* on BET and via live stream on BET.com.

Noted film and television actor Idris Elba has signed on as a guest star in four episodes of the new SHOWTIME dark comedy series THE BIG C, premiering August 16TH at 10:30p PT/ET. Elba will play 'Lenny,' a painter who forms a relationship with headliner Laura Linney. The 13-episode series is currently shooting in Stamford, Connecticut.

BBC AMERICA today announced its latest U.S. premiere co-production. Luther, starring Idris Elba (The Wire), is a smart, six-part, psychological thriller that takes a bold new look at the crime genre. Elba is also Associate Producer on the project.

Ingredient X, the new play by Nick Grosso, will open at the Royal Court Theatre from 26 May (previews from 20 May) with a cast including James Lance, Lesley Sharp and Indira Varma.
