Wade Dooley's Creative Writing Workshop Begins August 3

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the new online creative writing workshop Wade's Writer's Group, a ten-week writing workshop led by writer and actor Wade Dooley that will meet Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m. starting August 3 as part of Bay Street's online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. During the current pandemic, KPFK's Arts in Review, Southern California's longest-running radio showcase on live theater and cabaret, will be airing short plays, produced by local small theatres, during the month of May. This week Arts in Review airs an excerpt from IAMA Theatre Company's 10th Anniversary Season premiere of Christian Durso's Redline, directed by Eli Gonda, playing Friday, May 8 (2 to 2:30pm) over KPFK 90.7fm, home of Pacifica Radio for Southern California.
WEDNESDAYS WITH WADE From Bay Street Theatre Begins Online April 29

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is announcing that our new Wednesdays With Wade online interactive creative writing workshop, led by Wade Dooley, previously scheduled to begin April 22, will now begin Wednesday, April 29, as part of Bay Street's new online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. Classes will be held for eight weeks and will meet on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. via Zoom! Registration is $100 for eight sessions and is open to adults ages 18 and up. Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announced today, on what would have been The Vineyard's Annual Gala, the Roth-Vogel New Play Commission launched in partnership with 12-time Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel, whose collaborations with The Vineyard have spanned over two decades.
