Marking the 75th anniversary of THE WIZARD OF OZ, Warner Bros. has produced a 3D remastered version of the film which will launch a comprehensive, cross-divisional campaign encompassing theatrical, home entertainment, consumer products and a number of promotional partnerships.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY! Tams-Witmark Music Library has launched its Young Performers' Edition collection of titles with the release of The Wizard of Oz, Young Performers' Edition, now available for licensing, it was announced today by Sargent L. Aborn, President of Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc. The hour-long musical was adapted for young performers by iTheatrics under the supervision of its founder and CEO, Timothy Allen McDonald, in collaboration with Deena R. Harburg. Berkshire Theatre Festival seeks child and adult actors, musicians, backstage crew, technical support, usher staff, and parent volunteers to participate in its upcoming community production of the musical The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum adapted by John Kane for The Royal Shakespeare with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg, background music by Herbert Stothart, Dance and Vocal Arrangements by Peter Howard, Orchestration by Larry Wilcox, based upon the Classical Motion Picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros.
