In our new series, Broadway by Design, BroadwayWorld will be shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with Es Devlin and Katrina Lindsay, who acted as scenic and costume designers for Broadway's enchanting new musical, TUCK EVERLASTING.

TUCK EVERLASTING, the new musical based on Natalie Babbitt's beloved best-selling novel of the same name, will record a cast album to be released by DMI Soundtracks and distributed by Warner-Elektra-Atlantic Corporation.TUCK EVERLASTING's cast album will be produced by Frank Filipetti, Chris Miller, and Sean Patrick Flahaven, and will be recorded and mixed by Frank Filipetti. The album will be released digitally on Friday, June 10, 2016 and in stores wherever CDs are sold on Friday, July 1, 2016.

Just announced, TUCK EVERLASTING, the new musical based on Natalie Babbitt's beloved best-selling novel of the same name, will celebrate National Book Month by offering a limited number of $19.75 seats to select preview performances in honor of the year that the novel was published.

On October 25th the popular Broadway Understudies twitter account (@understudies) has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in the 6th edition of 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

HT Musical Theatre, an award-winning Teen Theatre based out of High Tech High School in Hudson County, NJ, will embark on celebrating their 15th anniversary with the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of 'A CHORUS LINE'. Students have been preparing for their performances this weekend, May 14-17, in NJ, then will embark at another run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August of 2015 at THE SPACE Theatre in Edinburgh.

On Monday, April 27th, the Metropolitan Room was packed with Broadway & Aspiring artists who shared new works and cheered each other on at the Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle. Hosted by JERSEY BOYS' Peter Gregus, audiences were treated to an up close look at singers trying out new songs & sharing their stories. The evening was intimate, joyful and full of opportunities for everyone involved to make invaluable industry connections. The cult classic musical Reefer Madness, with book and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and book and music by Dan Studney, was presented in concert at 54 Below on April 19 and 20, featuring original cast members from the production and movie, Christian Campbell, John Kassir, Harry S.
