Theatre Centre has announced the cast and creatives for the UK tour of Human Nurture by Alfred Fagon Award-shortlisted writer Ryan Calais-Cameron (Typical, Soho Theatre; Queens of Sheba, For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy, New Diorama Theatre). 

Headlong and Theatre Centre have joined forces with TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video content, to help inspire and connect the next generation of theatre makers. Combining digital theatre making with an exploration of form and dissection of the horror genre, TikTok Shocks will look to equip young artists with the necessary tools, experience and practical skills to support them in beginning a career in the performing arts.

The season will feature Shakespeare's Measure for Measure directed by Blanche McIntyre, Hamlet directed by Sean Holmes, The Merchant of Venice directed by Abigail Graham, and a festive reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's The Fir Tree written by Hannah Khalil. Alongside productions in the Playhouse, there will also be two week-long festivals (including the return of Shakespeare and Race) and half-term events for families.

Following acclaimed, sold-out live-streamed and on-demand runs, Hymn will be broadcast on Sky Arts on Sunday 18 April 9pm.
