It would be best not to use the phrase 'whale of a time' when discussing the potential enjoyment of Red Line Productions' 'The Whale' showing at Old Fitz Theatre. Chiefly because puns do not usually denote a refined critic. Rest assured, this one's a good one.

?Red Line Productions at the Old Fitz Theatre is pleased to be partnering with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras again to present the Australian Premiere of The Whale by Samuel D. Hunter.

The Wyvern will present a brand-new season including Gareth Gates and Chico in Boogie Nights the Musical in Concert, Liza Goddard and Lysette Anthony in Agatha Christie's Go Back For Murder, Ray Quinn and Beverley Callard in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Hannah Waterman in Abigail's Party, Toyah Wilcox in Hormonal Housewives and Dancing On Ice's Keith Chegwin in Jack and the Beanstalk.

This November we have a sparkling display of musicals, comedy, drama and family fun.

The gardener is to take over from Gemma Atkinson on the tour of the Tim Firth play. Anne Charleston, Sue Holderness and Gemma Craven also join the cast.

From Monday 3 May, the touring production of 'CALENDAR GIRLS' will star Elizabeth Bennett (‘Joyce Jowett' in 'Heartbeat' and was in the film of 'Calendar Girls') as ‘Marie', Anne Charleston (‘Madge' from 'Neighbours') as ‘Jessie - Miss January', Gemma Craven (‘Cinderella' in the film 'The Slipper and the Rose' and 'They're Playing Our Song' opposite Tom Conti in the West End) as ‘Chris - Miss October'

Hannah Waterman, star of EastEnders and winner with Marti Pellow of BBC's Just The Two Of Us, will star as Miss July in CALENDAR GIRLS at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End from Tuesday 1 December.
